Features
Low cost 8 channel serial relay board with heavy duty 10 Amp 250VAC/28VDC SPDT power relays, controlled through one of the PC RS232 serial ports.
Designed for single board operation or multiple board operation on the same serial port. Up to 16 boards can be connected in a daisy chain configuration, with up to a total of 128 - 10 Amp relays under PC control.

cable, for connecting PC to single board and for multiple board
configurations (9-pin serial to modular cable adapter required
available separately). |
| Any software language that can write to the PC
serial port can be used with this relay board NO special drivers

| Optional LED's to indicate relay activation (order
the "-L" suffix version on the part number when ordering below).
Note: The LED's are not visible on the -EXT version when the
cover is on the enclosure. |

- Bare board (no enclosure) with

Note:
To keep product costs low, the custom wired modular cable adapters
are NOT supplied with the multiple board units.
Order the
"-S" versions to include the adapter and cable. Only one is needed to connect to
the PC serial port, and the extra adapters would be unused in the multiple
board applications. The modular cable must be the standard telephone wiring configuration
which is reverse wired. Network/data/printer cables will not work
correctly. For each additional relay board connected - one additional modular cable
is required. Longer modular cables can be purchased here.
Relay testing software available for Windows -- used to
program and verify operation of
the relays before writing your own software program. Please note: The
relay boards do not ship with
software, see below to download the software or order
the software on disk.
